This agreement is between coach Maria Myrsini Dermpoki and the above-named client. Coaching will begin on the agreed start date and will continue for 24 online sessions of 75 minutes each, ideally over 6 months, with the option to extend to 12 months on a bi-weekly basis.
An extension beyond the initial 12-month period is available and may be agreed upon between coach and client in writing. Additional appointments can be scheduled as needed.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 12 hours' notice or you will be charged for the appointment.
There is no fee for the initial meeting. The investment for the ensuing sessions is €1,800 for the full 24-session programme, payable in full or in monthly instalments at the discretion of the coach.
The services to be provided by the coach to the client are face-to-face or online coaching sessions, as agreed jointly with the client. Coaching may address specific personal struggles, business issues, or general conditions in the client's life or profession. Other coaching services include value clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, examining modes of operation in life, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests or suggestions for action. Additionally, the client may be asked to reflect on difficult topics or situations which may result in an expression of emotions.
Clients will also receive access to a private online client portal (The Cocoon) containing session workbooks, guided meditations, hypnosis recordings, and additional resources. Access to the MMD Bot — an AI-assisted coaching companion rooted in the S.E.L.F. L.O.V.E. framework and based on Maria Myrsini Dermpoki's knowledge and methodology — is also provided as a supplementary resource between sessions.
Throughout the working relationship, the coach will engage in direct and personal conversations. The client understands that successful coaching requires a co-active collaborative approach between client and coach. In the coaching relationship, the coach plays the role of a facilitator of change, but it is the client's responsibility to enact or bring about the change.
If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate this with the coach as soon as possible and the coaching strategy will be restructured to address the client's desired outcome.
You are very much encouraged to talk more with the coach to receive a better understanding of what coaching is about and how to get the most out of it.
The client agrees to disclose details of any past or present psychological or psychiatric treatment. Coaching and counselling are not the same. Therapy and other modes of professional or medical psychological examination shall not be considered equivalent to coaching.
Maria Myrsini Dermpoki is not a registered psychologist or psychiatrist, nor a licensed therapist, and does not engage in therapy with coaching clients. In entering into the coaching relationship, you agree that if any mental health difficulties arise during the course of the coaching relationship, you will notify the coach immediately so that an appropriate referral can be discussed.
All information about the coach and client relationship will remain strictly confidential except in very rare circumstances where decreed by law (for example, where a court issues a subpoena for the file or information). If you wish for the coach to speak to someone outside your interactions, you need to give written permission (original letter, fax or email) to do so.
Limits of confidentiality and duty to report. Confidentiality is not absolute. Maria Myrsini Dermpoki has a professional and ethical obligation to break confidentiality and take appropriate action — which may include contacting emergency services or relevant authorities — if she believes there is a serious risk that the client may harm themselves (including suicidal ideation with intent or plan), harm another person, or if there is a disclosure involving child abuse or neglect. The client agrees that in any of these circumstances, the coach is both permitted and obligated to act to protect the safety of those involved. Outside these circumstances, all information shared in the coaching relationship is kept strictly confidential.
In accordance with good professional practice, the coach may discuss coaching cases anonymously and without identifying information with a professional supervisor for the purposes of continuing professional development and quality of service. No identifying details will be shared.
In some situations, it is important to be aware of the risks of using certain media such as the internet, mobile phones and cordless phones. If you use these to communicate with the coach, it will be assumed it is appropriate to continue to do so.
Maria Myrsini Dermpoki is committed to acting in the client's best interests at all times. If at any point during the coaching relationship she determines that the client's needs fall outside the scope of coaching — for example, if significant mental health concerns arise that would be better addressed by a therapist, psychologist or other qualified professional — she reserves the right to refer the client to an appropriate professional and, if necessary, to suspend or end the coaching relationship. This decision will always be communicated with care and, wherever possible, with an appropriate referral.
Maria Myrsini Dermpoki also reserves the right to end the coaching agreement at her own discretion in any of the following circumstances: if she determines that the coaching relationship is not a good fit for either party; if the client's needs or requests fall beyond her professional scope of expertise; if a significant conflict of values or professional ethics arises; or if she feels threatened, unsafe, or disrespected in any way by the client's behaviour. In any of these circumstances, all fees paid for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded in full. This right exists to ensure that the coaching relationship remains safe, ethical, and productive for both parties.
The client agrees to take responsibility for informing the coach of any changes in their mental or physical health that may affect the coaching process.
Maria Myrsini Dermpoki is committed to maintaining clear and appropriate professional boundaries throughout the coaching relationship. She will not engage in any dual relationship that creates a conflict of interest. She provides coaching without discrimination on the basis of age, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic background, or any other characteristic.
Maria Myrsini Dermpoki holds accreditations from the following professional bodies, and this coaching practice adheres to their respective ethical guidelines and standards of practice:
These frameworks collectively govern professional conduct, confidentiality, scope of practice, professional boundaries, and the distinction between coaching and complementary techniques on the one hand, and medical or psychological treatment on the other. The coaching and complementary techniques used in this programme are intended to support the client's personal development and wellbeing. They are complementary to, not a substitute for, medical or psychological care.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques may be used as part of the coaching process as a tool to support mindset shifts and behavioural change. These are used strictly as coaching tools. By signing this agreement, the client gives informed consent to the potential use of NLP-based approaches within sessions.
As part of the S.E.L.F. L.O.V.E. programme (previously The Transformational Project), clients receive access to guided hypnosis and meditation recordings (the Theta Mix series). These recordings are designed for relaxation, self-reflection and coaching support. They are not medical or therapeutic interventions.
The client agrees to consult their GP or a qualified medical professional before using the hypnosis recordings if any of the following apply:
By signing this agreement, the client confirms they are not aware of any of the above contraindications, or that they have sought appropriate medical advice. Maria Myrsini Dermpoki shall not be liable for any adverse effects arising from the client's use of the recordings where this clause has not been observed.
The client has the option to terminate the coaching agreement within 7 days of signing the contract and will receive a refund on all payments made. Otherwise, the client agrees to coaching for the duration of the contracted period.
Life Coaching is a service that provides personal coaching to specific individuals and/or groups. The client is aware that coaching is in no way to be construed or substituted as psychological counselling or any other type of therapy or medical advice. Maria Myrsini Dermpoki will at all times exercise her best professional efforts, skills and care in ensuring her client is coached to meet their life coaching goals.
The client understands and acknowledges that the coach will not be liable legally or otherwise for the actions the client may or may not undertake as a result of the life coaching sessions. No assumption of responsibility is made or given, and the client requesting such advice agrees not to hold Maria Myrsini Dermpoki responsible or liable in any form or fashion for such actions taken of their own accord.
The method and process by which this advice and direction are given in no manner whatsoever, written or verbal, constitutes an agreement or liability on the part of the provider and is acknowledged to be different in many ways from clinical and medical counselling.
You (the client) agree that using any of these life coaching services is entirely at your own risk. Life coaching services are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including without limitation any warranty for information services, coaching, uninterrupted access, or products and services provided through or in connection with the service. The client takes full responsibility for the decisions they make after being coached as well as the consequences. The client enters into coaching with full understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results.
The client also acknowledges that access to the MMD Bot — an AI-assisted coaching companion — is provided as a supplementary resource between sessions. The MMD Bot does not constitute therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health support. It is not a replacement for the coaching relationship with Maria Myrsini Dermpoki. Maria Myrsini Dermpoki shall not be liable for any outcomes arising from the client's use of the MMD Bot.
Periodically, Maria Myrsini Dermpoki may provide links to other websites or print material which may be of value, interest or convenience to the client. This does not constitute endorsement of material at those sites or any associated organisation, product or service. It is the responsibility of the client to make their own informed decision about the accuracy of the information at those sites. In no event shall Maria Myrsini Dermpoki be liable for any incident or consequential damages resulting from use of such material.
