MMD Coaching is run by Maria Myrsini Dermpoki, Dublin, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean MMD Coaching.
This policy covers personal data we collect through:
If you have any question about this policy or your data, email contact@mmd-coaching.com. We do not have a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require one for a business of our size.
We collect only what we need for the purposes in section 3.

Information about your health. In coaching you may choose to tell us about your emotional or mental wellbeing. This is special category data under GDPR. We only record it with your explicit consent, which we ask for in your coaching agreement, and only as far as it helps your sessions. Coaching is not therapy or medical care.
The Gap Audit asks about how you think and feel about your life. It does not ask about health conditions, and your result is a coaching archetype, not a diagnosis.
GDPR requires a lawful basis for each use of your data. Ours are:

Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have checked that it does not override your rights. You can object at any time (section 9).
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, Merrion Road, Dublin 4.
Lead forms. If you fill in one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the details you submit. From then on we handle them under this policy. Meta's own use of your data is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
Meta Pixel. With your consent, our website uses the Meta Pixel. It tells us whether people who saw our ads visited the site, took the quiz or booked a call. It also lets Meta show our ads to people likely to be interested. For this part, we and Meta are joint controllers under Meta's Controller Addendum. Meta handles your requests about the data it holds.
Custom audiences. We may upload a protected (hashed) list of subscribers' email addresses to Meta. Meta uses it to avoid showing you ads you no longer need, or to find people with similar interests. You can opt out by emailing us.
How we target. We target ads by broad interests, age range and location. We never target by health, religion, sexuality or any other sensitive characteristic.
You can control the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
When you take The Gap Audit or join our list, we email you your result, then a short series of emails written for your archetype, then our regular newsletter. Some emails mention our paid coaching, membership or other offers.
Your quiz result only changes which emails you receive. It is not an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you, and nothing is decided about you without a person involved.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing does not affect any coaching you have booked.
We never sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run MMD Coaching, under contracts that require them to protect it.

We may also share data with our accountant for tax purposes, or where the law requires it. In coaching, we would only break confidentiality where someone's safety is at serious risk, or where the law requires us to.
Some of the services in section 6 are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area, we only use services certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Email us for a copy of the safeguard that applies.

To use any of these rights, email contact@mmd-coaching.com. We reply within one month and do not charge a fee. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Our website uses essential cookies to work properly. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies, including the Meta Pixel. You choose these in our cookie banner and can change your choice at any time from the link in the website footer. Blocking cookies in your browser may stop parts of the site from working.
We protect your data with secure passwords, two-factor authentication on our accounts, and access limited to MMD Coaching. Coaching notes are kept in password-protected storage. No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Data Protection Commission as the law requires.
Our services, quiz and ads are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
We will update this policy when our services or the law change, and show the new date at the top. If we make a significant change, we will email our subscribers.
